Why Alternative?
There's not much different about the work that we do, but it's the way that we do it that may be a bit different to the stereotypical Plumber. We are committed Christians and part of the Salvation Army in Tadcaster. This commitment means that we will always be honest and give the best possible service and assistance. We will also be giving at least 10% of our company profits to the work of the Salvation Army in the local area so as well as getting the jobs done; you will be contributing to charity work in the local community
Plumbing that won't cost the earth?
We are also committed to looking after the earth and giving you the best possible prices for work carried out. In short if we can re-use it, we will, if we can reduce waste in water/energy consumption and parts used we will and if we can recycle parts then we will
As alternative forms of energy and practise become available we will be trying and testing them to make sure we can give you the best products and the best value. If we wouldn't use it, we won't recommend it!
Company Background
In early 2006 we decided as a family that we needed to do something to invest in the local community and help to make a difference for the next generations. The Alternative plumber is all about providing a good service for people in a trade that is in demand and has a reputation of charging high rates for work and keeping people waiting. Whilst we need to make a comfortable living, the generation of wealth is not our aim.
